Fall Crafts

Today we made some fall crafts. First we took a nature walk and collected leaves.

The first project we did was place leaves between 2 pieces of wax paper. Then I put a cloth over the wax paper and I ironed over the cloth with the warm iron. Next the kids cut out the leaves and put them up on the windows.

For the second project the kids made leaf rubbings. They put leaves between 2 pieces of white paper . Then they peeled the paper off from crayons and rubbed over the white paper.

  1. Hi! I'm glad you stopped by to say "hi" to me on my blog. I really like your site. It looks like your doing a lot of fun stuff. You asked about pictures of notebooking pages. I will try to remember to post some soon, but I can't at the moment. (Wish I could!!!) My computer is almost out of memory (Hubby has plans to get more soon!) and I was having him upload picture on his computer then transferring them to Photo Bucket, but his computer died last week and he's waiting on parts to fix it. (He's a network engineer, so I leave computer problems to him.) Hopefully he'll have his computer up and running soon and I can start posting pictures again. I'll also have to go through our stuff to see what examples I would want to show. My son has horrible handwriting and some of them are hard to read! :) We're working on the handwriting thing!!!

  2. I'm so excited to find your blog. I home school 5 children too! I have a strange request. I am on vacation (one of the bennies of home schooling, right?) and I can't remmeber the name of a catalog of wonderful curriculum that uses Charlotte Mason's approach and is literature based. I do remmeber they use that new Mystery of History book which is fabulous. Do you have any idea what curriculum that is? For years I just put my own together until the little ones started school, then Sonlight was great. Anyway, love you blog and I love scrapbooking too. I will be in touch!
