Today, Andrew had his first debate round robin (practice tournament). It was an all day event and Andrew, Sophie and I drove about an hour with some friends to get there. This is his first year doing Lincoln-Douglass debate where he just debates against one other person, as opposed to team policy debate. This years topic is Resolved: that the United States of America ought to more highly value isolationism and the students have to debate both sides of the topic.
